New Business of Chochelis in Saguramo

New beer factory is being built in Saguramo village of Mtskheta district. The factory will replace the beer factory “Lomisi” located in Askhalgori district, currently under control of Ossetian side; the factory belonged to Iago Checheli, brother of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti regional governor Tsezar Choecheli. Investment of 27 million Euro is planned in the new beer factory.

The lawyers of the people convicted for the charge in the framework of the famous special operation “Enveri”, have not been delivered the verdict yet. Gela Nikolaishvili, lawyer of convicted pilot Gocha Diasamidze, told the News Agency Pirveli that the court does not hand in the motivation part of the verdict to the lawyers saying the case is Top Secret.

57-year-old Sergo Tetradze detained under the conviction of espionage died in the prison after a week from detention. Tetradze was a military officer and worked in the Defense Ministry till 2007. According to the official information, Tetradze died as a result of heart attack. However, the political party Free Democrats state that he was a victim of torture.

As soon as businessman Bidzina Ivanishvili took first steps in Georgian politics, he was trapped by the United National Movement. Civil Registration Agency of Georgia annulled his Georgian citizenship. That means, Ivanishvili can neither set up a political party nor fund other parties because the Georgian legislation prohibits similar actions for foreign citizens.
