Leader of the Sokhumi de-facto government Sergei Baghapsh ordered to deconstruct the houses which were burnt down during the armed conflict in 1990s. The news agency “Apsni Press” reported about it.
Baghapsh discussed the issue at the session with the leaders of the de-facto administrations of the towns and districts. He said there are houses in Sokhumi and other residential areas, particularly alongside the central high-way, which remind the people of the war.
Baghapsh ordered the leaders of the de-facto administrations to deconstruct burnt houses and clean the areas from ruins within a month; those houses are situated alongside the road between the village of Achadara to Ochamchire.
