Students Are not Given President’s Grants

Tbilisi. Media News. 205 students of Batumi State University have organized the action demanding the president’s grant amounting 50 Gel for per undergraduate.

Students received the president’s grant only in June. Now they are demanding to receive the rest four months allowance. They applied to the rector of the University and to the government of Adjara with the same demand, though the university management stated that they are neither responsible to give the mentioned grant nor the University budget envisages these expenses.

If students are not given their money they are planning to organize large-scale actions.
