Video Conference on Human Rights Issues Will Be Organized In Post Soviet Area

Today video conference will be organized between Tbilisi, Moscow and Baku press centers of RIA NOVOSTI. The participants of this conference will discuss the issues concerning human rights and election.

December 10 is Human Rights International Day. The conference will be dedicated to the event and to the elections just held in the Ukraine and Russia and the up-coming presidential elections in Georgia.
 
Tbilisi International Press Centre of RIA NOVOSTI will invite Sozar Subari, Georgian Public Defender and Elene Tevdoradze, the Chairwoman of Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee of the Georgian Parliament.

Ludmila Alekseeva the head of Moscow Helsinki Group and Professor Giorgi Kunadze will represent Russian side during video conference. Arzu Abdulaeva the head of Helsinki Civil Assembly of Azerbaijani Committee, Novela Japaroglu the head of Dilar Alievi Women’s Rights Society, Saida Hojamanali the human rights defender and Saadat Bananiarli and Zarikha Taiarovi the members of the Monitoring Group of Azerbaijani Human Rights Organizations will involve the video conference from Baku Press Centre of RIA NOVOSTI.
