Election Failed in Telavi #1 Polling Station

According to decision of the Head of the District Election Commission, the election has failed in the polling station #1 of Telavi election district #17.

The member of the commission from the party “Tavisupleba” (Freedom) noticed Ivane Peikrishvili, the staff member of Telavi municipality put already marked several ballots.

The foreign observers monitored the fact as well. They demanded for urgent reaction from the head of the district election commission. After which Peikrishvili left the station.

According to the radio Hereti, before leaving the polling station Peikrishvili had tens of already marked ballots in his pocket to put in the ballot box.

They do not comment in the municipality of Telavi.
