“Foreign Observers Do Not Observe Violations; They Are Counting Flies”

January 5, 2008
Presidential candidate Giorgi Maisashvili claims that chaos has started on the Election Day in the country and governmental bodies are paralyzed.

Maisashvili defined that even “light snow” has paralyzed governmental structures. Although the government promised the population that public transport would be free on the Election Day, they did not keep their promises and are using those buses for so-called carousel.

Maisashvili criticized foreign observers who are not observing the violations in fact; “they are counting flies.”

“I want to remind American people of the phrase of Martin Luther King, the public celebrity:  “No Justice; No Peace”. “Thus, if there is no justice, we will not have peace.” We will protect the votes of every person and will set our country free from Mikheil Saakashvili’s regime,” said Giorgi Maisashvili.
