Elections has been Falsified in Chantliskuri

According to the data of the Human Rights Centre, elections has been falsified in Chantliskuri polling station in Kvareli district. Gela Mtivlishvili, the observer of the Centre is in the territory since 12 a.m. There is an attempt from the members of the commission to insult the representatives of the opposition parties physically and verbally.

Village Chantliskuri is settled by Azeri people. They do not know Georgian language which is exploited by the commission members. The head of the election commission has brought several persons who knows Georgian. They enter the voting cabins instead of the constituents and vote for Mikheil Saakashvili. For example, Alik Ramazanov, the member of the National Movement has already entered the cabin for seven times.

244 constituents are registered in the polling station, 51 of them has already voted for this moment despite the fact that there is no voting instructions posted in the cabins.

After indicating to the violations, there have been attempts of physical insult from the commission members. Gela Mtivlishvili wrote the complaint on the violations that was signed by other observers as well. It caused the confrontation between the observers and election commission members that still continues. Election commission members are trying to expel observers from the polling stations.
