Irakli Batiashvili Is Free

Irakli Batiashvili was released from the detention setting-Gela Nikoleishvili, the attorney of Batiashvili reported to the Medianews.

He added that his client has already left the prison. It is noteworthy that his release was planned after inauguration. Supposedly, at the moment former prisoner is in the residence of Georgian Patriarch.

Law enforcers arrested Irakli Batiashvili on July 29 2006. He was accused for intellectual support of the state rebels and for not informing corresponding bodies about the felony. However, later the court discharged him from the second accusation.
