Organized Violence Conference: Children and Adults

Tomorrow, Conference “Violence among Children and Adults-Seeking Ways to Resolve the Problem” will be held in the hotel “Courtyard Marriot” in Tbilisi.

The conference is to be organized by the Georgian Parliament and Fund “Global Initiative in Psychiatry.”

Nino Burjanadze, chairperson of the Georgian Parliament will open the conference. Local and international governmental and non-governmental organizations will participate. A range of experts from the UN’s Committee for the Rights of the Child, representatives of the Georgian Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Welfare and members of other organizations working in the field will share reports and their views on the issue of violence among children and adults.

The conference will be completed on February 28.
