Prosecutor General’s Office Opens Investigation in Kakheti Municipality-Sakrebulo’s

Radio "Hereti" has received information that the representatives of Kakheti Regional Office of Prosecutor General have started an investigation in all Municipalities of Kakheti region.

Levan Bezhashvili, the President’s Representative in Kakheti region comments on this information.

Levan Bezhashvili told Radio "Hereti" that the office of Prosecutor General carries out investigation in Municipalities based on a number of definite claims.

“It is the obligation of Prosecutor’s Office to investigate the claimed facts. I do not know what the specific violations are but probably the activities of specific departments and commissions that fall under the investigation,” stated Levan Bezhashvili.

Radio "Hereti" has the information that the Prosecutor’s Office started studying the activities of all 8 district Municipalities of Kakheti region, as the money that was allocated  during the election period and whether or not it was spent inappropriate and without purpose.
