Management for HAACP Food Safety Unit Does Work Properly

The Human Rights Center accuses the work of the management unit that deals with hazard analysis and critical control points in food safety of not living up to their responsibilities. HACCP plans and operating procedures are adaptable to any food production, processing, or distribution activity.
The food industry began realizing a number of years ago that the lack of proper food-handling procedures could lead to very drastic situations concerning food-borne microorganisms, toxic chemicals, and physical contaminants.

As the Center representatives elucidate that they had sent an official letter to the Management Unit for Food Safety and Risk Analyze and asked them to inspect the wheat bread that is produced by Ltd. Begi Company. However, the Management Unit has not satisfied the request.

The Human Rights Center asked the Management Unit to inspect the bread based on the statements of citizens and assumptions of various specialists. The specialists say there might be a mould found in bread. They assume from the appearance of the bread which is being sold on the market; bread moulds are a threat to public health.

The address of Ltd. Begi Company is Kostava Street 86, Tbilisi, which is actually the address of Georgian Public Broadcasting.
