People’s Bank Denies Money Distribution Problems in District Branches

People’s Bank denies the validity of information that Human Rights Centre has as to problems with the distribution of money the Bank’s district branches. “There are no problems in district branches on apportioning money to the clients,” told the representative of the People’s Bank to the news agency Pirveli. Dodo Bochorishvili, the head of People’s Bank’s Public Relations Department stated “nothing impedes the district branches from their normal work and if the citizens have problems in some particular branches they can call on 555500 - the People’s Bank’s Hot Line.”

The Human Rights Center possesses the information that the citizens have problems with taking their money from People’s Bank’s district branches. In addition, the district offices of the People’s Bank stopped granting credits and installments the household appliances credit division that provides for loans to purchases at various shops.
