Total of 158 600 People Flee Tskhinvali and Gori Districts

According to the information of the UNHCR, looters seriously damaged Gori district in the wake of fleeing IDPs.

The UN reported that the buildings are not seriously damaged in Gori but all of them have been looted.

The UNHCR states that a small group of local inhabitants stayed in Gori and nearly 50-60 people gathered in the city center to receive humanitarian aid delivered by the UN.

According to the UN, 158 600 people escaped from Tskhinvali and Gori districts after the Russian Army entered Georgian territories.
