August 26, 2008

The villagers demanded the immediate withdrawal of Russian occupants and that the Russian checkpoints that had been set-u be cancelled, especially the one that was opened in the private building of one of the local inhabitants.

“Journalists who arrived in the village to cover the demonstration told that they were filming the checkpoints. As they said, “Our demonstration resulted in aggression on the part of the Russian soldiers and they opened fire at journalists. The peaceful demonstrators got furious what happened and tried to bring a stop to the Russian aggression with their bear hands.
