Demonstration of the Opposition Parties Is Moving Towards President’s Residence in Avlabari

November 7, 2008
Demonstrators who had gathered in front of the parliament’s building are moving towards the residence of the president in Avlabari. Kakha Kukava, representative of the Conservative Party, called upon the patrol policemen to empty the roads from cars in the direction of Ablabari. Opposition leaders will announce their demands to the Georgian president; political parties have drawn up their petition to the president together.

Opposition fixed deadline for the authority to answer their requests before November 23. Unless their requests are satisfied the united opposition and their supporters will siege TV Company “Imedi” for 24 hours.
