Gela Nikolaishvili: Number of Prisoners Dead Spiked

Gela Nikolaishvili, representative of the Georgian Bar Association, states that because of hard conditions in penitentiary establishments number of dead prisoners has increased.

Nikolaishvili reported to journalists that two prisoners have died for the last two days while being held in custody. One of them died in Gori Prison; he was 32-year-old Pitskhelauri for very serious illness; and second, 47-year-old Karamian died with cancer in Gldani jail hospital.
