Batumi Residents Dissatisfied with Transport Itineraries

December 23, 2008

Batumi residents complain about itineraries of the mini-buses and buses that operate in the city. Residents of Melikishvili, Turgenevi, 26 Maisi, Ekvtime Takaishvili and other streets have to change several buses in order to travel to the City Center.

According to the Batumi City Hall they cannot send buses in all districts of the city because of on-going sewage and gasification repair works being implemented. However, public transport was not running on the above-mentioned streets earlier as well.
