People without Drinking Water Forced to Pay the Drinking Water Bill

The inhabitants of Rustaveli Street, Telavi town do not have drinking water due to damaged system. However, they are forced to pay the bill for the water they have not consumed. The employees of water distribution company Tskalkanali informed that if the population does not pay drinking water bill, they will not have water even after the eradication of problem. The population informed George Sibashvili, Deputy Kakhet Regional Governor about the problem through the live program on Telavi TV company Tanamgzavri.

Sibashvili said that he would study the case personally and if it is proved that the representatives of Telavi Tskalkanali are forcing people to pay illegal bill he will he will punish them.

Gia Dzamukashvili, head of Telavi Tskalkanali confirmed that the inhabitants of Rustaveli street, Telavi town do not receive drinking water but he denied that his company demands that population pays undue bill.
