Member of Sazogadoebis Darbazi Beaten and Robbed by Masked Men

Davit Begiashvili the representative of Sazogadoebis Darbazi (“The Public Hall”, a coalition of several political parties) was robbed and beaten by four masked men.
According toTemur Naneishvili, the member of the Georgian Academy, the incident happened after Davit Magradze, the member of Sazogadoebis Darbazi, had strongly criticized the government in a televised programme on channel Maestro. He states that the public opinion is that the incident is a case of political revenge.

“Davit Begiashvili is quite an active member of Sazogadoebis Darbazi. We think the incident which took place yesterday, when Davit Begiashvili was beaten in a brutal way and robbed by four masked men, has a direct connection to his involvement in Sazogadoebis Darbazi.  . They took away his laptop and other personal things. The incident happened after the televised remarks made by Davit Magradze on Maestro “, said Temur Naneishvili.
