Five People Are Beaten in Makhata Street in Avlabari

According to the witness Gia Abesadze, five people were attacked by the people dressed in civil clothes and armed with truncheons. The strangers insulted and then beat them; they threatened the five people with shooting as well.

The attackers arrived at the place with two jeeps. Abesadze stated the harassers demanded them to curse President Mikheil Saakashvili and then beat them.

The victimized people are not identified yet. Abesadze stated they are not members of any political party and are ordinary citizens.
