The Opposition Activists Were Physically Assaulted on Rustaveli Highway

The opposition activists were physically assaulted on Rustaveli highway. According to the information of Maestro TV, some demonstrators were returning home by car, when the strangers followed them on Rustaveli highway. They crashed the car, made them stop the car and after this three people physically assaulted them.

According to the emergency medical service doctors, the demonstrators had chest and waist beaten. The victims went to the Public Defender’s Office and gave him the explanation. According to Giorgi Chkheidze, deputy of the public defender, the Public Defender’s Office will hold an inquiry and after this he will make immediate response.
