Car of the Member of Poti Office of the Alliance for Georgia Was Damaged

April 28, 2009

Last night the car of the member of Poti office of the Alliance for Georgia was damaged.

Local representative of the Alliance Irakli Kakulia reported the Interpressnews about the incident. However, Kakulia did not mention the name of the victim person.

“Out of interests of the investigation I cannot mention the name of the victim. We have informed the Poti Police Department about the incident. We are waiting for their respond and now we do not want to interfere in their professional activities by our statements. However, this incident looks like political oppression; so we informed the European Union as well,” said Kakulia.

Kakulia stated the incident happened when the meeting was going on in the office of the Alliance.

“The car was standing in the yard of the office. After the meeting we found the car completely damaged,” said Kakulia.
