Russians Detained Merab Danelia Resident of Chuburkhinji

Today at 11:00 am Russian occupants arrested Merab Danelia, resident of the village of Chuburkhinji in the Gali district, at the so-called administrative border. According to locals Danelia was traveling to Zugdidi from his village by car and some locals were sitting in his car. The occupants ordered him to get out of the car and arrested him for “illegal crossing of the border.” Russian soldiers brought Danelia to the local Abkhazian militia. At the moment, Danelia is in a Gali militia station where separatists are interrogating him.
