Strangers Attacked Activist of the November 7 Movement

May 6, 2009

Unidentified people chased activist of the November 7 Movement Akaki Daraselia by car. Daraselia reported to the Interpressnews that when he was traveling with his friend by his car, a green car chased them. About 5-6 people got out from the car after Daraselia stopped his car. The strangers tried to arrest Daraselia but he managed to get back into the car and ran away from the place; if he had not escaped he would have become the victim of physical assault. Daraselia added that similar incidents, like watching and persecution of the members of the November 7 Movement and Youth Branch of the April 9 Movement has become common and his accident was not the first occasion.
