Melor Vachnadze Blames Police for Illegal Persecution

June 18, 2009

Melor Vachnadze, a representative of Youth Organization HQ for April 9, accuses the police of illegal persecution. According to him, yesterday, on June 17, while he was at the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (Moduli) someone phoned him from a phone with the number 898 44 17 35 and told him that soon he would find himself not outside but inside the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to him, the person who phoned him assaulted him verbally.

The reason why Melor Vachnadze came to the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was the detention of Levan Gogichaishvili, one of the leaders of the Youth Organization HQ for April 9.
