Demonstrators Demand Investigation of the Incident in front of the Police Department on June 15

Doctors, members the Georgian Academy and representatives of various organizations gathered in front of the Tbilisi Police Main Department. Actress Nineli Chankvetadze led them to the place and called upon the people to participate in the demonstration.

Nineli Chankvetadze stated that Georgian mothers and other people participated in the demonstration and they fight for their rights.

The actress added that on June 15 women were beaten for the first time in Georgia that is very shameful for the history of the country.

Demonstrators require the law enforcers to investigate the incident of June 15 immediately and to punish the offenders according to the law.
