Renovated Houses Are Pulling Down In Signagi

July 14, 2009

Although the government spent millions of GEL from the budget to reconstruct the town, houses are pulling down in Rustaveli Street in Signagi.

Residents of Signagi informed Kakheti News Center about it. According to them, builders removed the roofs of the houses without the permission of owners and covered roofs with clay tile which turned out weak to keep the buildings from the leakage of the rain.

According to the residents of Rustaveli Street, they applied to the Signagi City Hall for help, but no one responded to their problem so far. According to the City Hall, the reconstruction activities were carried out by the private company and if residents have complaints, they should apply to the company.
