Abkhazian Militia Officer Wounded Georgian Resident of Nabakevi

Eduard Partsvania, a resident of the village of Nabakevi in Gali District is wounded. According to him, Abkhazian Militia officers shot at him. After a late-night clash between Russian occupants and the Abkhazian Militia, the Abkhazians had to leave the territory.

While the separatists were retreating they attempted to take away cars from several residents. The inhabitants of the village resisted but then the Abkhazian Militia fired several gunshots.

Partsvania was carried to the Zugdidi Hospital. Doctors performed an emergency operation on him. According to the doctors, the condition of the patient is grave.

“Partsvania is wounded in the abdominal area and an emergency operation was performed,” said Paata Gogia, a doctor at the Zugdidi Hospital.
