Human Rights Defenders Killed in Chechnya

The case on the murders of Zarema Sadulayeva, a representative of NGO Save the Generation and her husband Alik Dzhabrailov was initiated in the Investigative Division  within Investigative Committee of the Russian Public Prosecutor’s Office on  in Chechnya .

Today in the early morning their bodies were found in the trunk of a car in the settlement of Zavodskoi, in Grozny. Zarema Sadulayeva and her husband Alik Dzhabrailov, had many gunshot wounds on their bodies.

The case is brought for murder and purchase of illegal weapons.

Last month there was another notorious murder in Chechnya. On July, 15 Natalya Estemirova, a representative of the Human Rights Center Memorial and a famous HR defender in Russia, was abducted and then killed.
