Eight Georgian Citizens Detained in Israel

According to the TV Company “Rustavi 2” Policemen of the Israeli Emigration Department detained eight Georgian citizens on Israel-Egypt border; they are suspected for illegal crossing of Israeli border.

One of the detainees is a woman together with 15-year-old son who were traveling to Israel to work.

The detainees were taken to police station for interrogation. They might be deported to Georgia.

According to the spread information the number of illegal Georgian migrants in Europe and Israel has increased.
