Socially Excluded People Will Have Right to File Complaints about the Rating Points or Allowances

September 7, 2009
Socially excluded people will have right to file complaints about the rating points or amount of allowance. The Constitution Court of Georgia made the decision based on the appeal of the Public Defender of Georgia.

Public Defender Sozar Subari gave press-conference regarding the fact today.

Sozar Subari said he had appealed to the Constitution Court regarding the Article 22, Part II of the Law of Georgia on Social Allowances. The Constitution Court satisfied the appeal of the Public Defender and annulled the part II of the article 22.

Subari said the Court considered the part II of the Article 22 breached rights on social allowance as well as other rights like to personal inviolability, right to equality and property, etc.

Sozar Subari said after the article is found non-constitutional citizens will be able to file complaints about the rating points and amount of allowance.
