Nino Burjanadze – The Government Shall Be Punished for False Information

Nino Burjanadze, leader of the Democratic Movement for the United Georgia blames the government for having spread false information about the meeting of the Patriarch of Georgia and the convicted for the murder of Sandro Girgvliani.

In her interview with the Radio “Palitra” Nino Burjanadze said the information about the meeting of the pardoned convicted people with the patriarch in the Church of Holy Trinity was false; the same information reported that the patriarch sanctified the convicted people to live in the monastery. Burjanadze said the government shall be punished for the false information.

“There was no agreement, Patriarch was surprised with the information when he learned about the news,” said Burjanadze. According to the information the Patriarch sanctified the murderers of Sandro Girgvliani to live in the monastery for one year. The patriarchate of Georgia denied the information.
