The Police Raided the Telavi Office of the Conservative Party

The police entered the Telavi Office of the Conservative Party several minutes ago and are beating the people in the Office ruthlessly, announced Kakha Kukava, a leader of the Conservative Party several minutes ago.

Kukava said that the beating and severe torturing of the people in the office including the women continues in the Office up to now. The police officers, representatives of the Constitutional Security Department and Special Operative Department are in the Office.

Kukava alleged that the raid of the Office of the Conservative Party is connected with the planned report of the Government of Georgia to be delivered in Telavi. The event will be attended by Mikheil Saakashvili.

Kukava said that the local opposition organizations, including Conservative Party had been planning to hold protest in connection with the visit of the GoG. The police reacted ruthlessly on the plan.

Reportedly, Gogita Dalakishvili, Gogita Mosashvili and Alika Taliauri, representatives of the Conservative Party are severely beaten.
