Today the Abkhazian Weekly School Will Be Opened In Tbilisi

In Tbilisi, on Freedom Square, the Abkhzian Weekly School will be opened today. The Abkhazian government disseminated the information about this.

The school is opening by the support of Georgia’s President and the Abkhazian government in exile and with the blessings of the Patriach.  IDPs from Abkhazia will study with the children from Tbilisi.

The members of Abkhazia Legitimate Government—the government in exile--, Georgia’s Parliament and representatives of the ministry of education will attend the opening ceremony.

The head of the project is David Menafire, the president of the Future Generation and the head of the school.

The first school like this –“Lampari “ has existed in Rustavi for 2 years and today it counts more than 600 pupils. Abkhazian Irma Osia, the journalist of the Abkhazian group on Public Broadcaster is teaching the Abkhazian language.

The pupils of the Abkhazian Weekly School are studying with a new Abkhazian book.
