Officials of the Ministry of Healthcare Were Arrested

Law enforcement officers arrested Zviad Chincharauli, the head of Isani- Samgori Agency for Social Subsidies within the Ministry of Labor, Healthcare and Social Welfare and Gia Nadaraia, the chief specialist of the same agency.

Eka Alavidze, spokesperson of the Social Agency confirmed the information about the detention.

She said she does not have official information about the reason of their detention. 

“The agency will continue working .The deputy head continues working at the agency and we will collaborate with the investigation too”, said Alavidze and clarified that the detention happened yesterday.

According to the Interpressnews, Chincharauli and Nadaria were detained under charge of bribery.
Besides that, the chief prosecutor’s office had scheduled a briefing about the detention today, but it was postponed for uncertain reason. No one clarified the reason of postponing briefing at the prosecutor’s office.
