According to Maia Garsenishvili, Prison Sabiashvili’s car ran over her 30-year-old son David Garsenishvili; consequently the latter got disabled. Dato went through several operations. An iron was installed in his leg and he needs another operation, but we have no money, we sold everything after the accident, Sabiashvili promised he would help us if we did not take him into court, but he did not keep his promise. Investigation was launched but the police does not do anything,” said Maia Garsenishvili the mother of the victimized man. She added that after the accident Pridon Sabiashvili was promoted and now works at the Kakheti region police department .
Pridon Sabiashvili categorically denies the complaints of Garsenishvili. “I have no idea what are you talking about. What an accident? Why are you interested if I was interrogated or not? If anybody slanders me I will sue him,” said the policeman.
