People Blocked Georgia-Azerbaijan Motor-way

Today, residents of the village of Matsimi in Lagodekhi District blocked the Georgia-Azerbaijan motor-way close to Lagodekhi custom-house; they requested the drinking water.
Participants of the protest reported the Kakheti News Center that Lagodekhi municipality board spent 120 000 GEL on supplying the village with drinking water however because of the poor work the village has not received the water yet.
According to the correspondent of the Kakheti News Center the officials of Lagodekhi municipality board requested the people to remove the blockade of the motor-way but the demonstrators refuse. Patrol policemen and employees of the Lagodekhi district police department were on the place.
