Georgian Side Requests Tskhinvali De Facto Government to Release Pupils of Tirdznisi Village School and Requests Foreign Diplomats to Take an Active Part in it

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia demands immediate and unconditional release of pupils from the public school of the village of Tirdznisi.

According to the MIA, yesterday afternoon the pupils of the public school in the village of Tirdznisi, Giorgi Romelashvili (born in 1995), Aleko Sabadze (born in 1995), Victor Buchukuri (born in 1993) and Levan Khmidiashvili (born in 1992) disappeared from the village of Tirdznisi in Gori District.

“According to our information pupils might be arrested in Tskhinvali District, which is confirmed by the announcement spread by the self-proclaimed Government of South Ossetia,” stated the MIA.

Nika Gvaramia, the Minister of Education appeals to international organizations to take an active part in the release of Georgian children.

“Georgian government will do everything to release these children, but I want to tell international organizations and diplomatic corps that we talk about the fate of children. I appeal to international organizations to do everything to release the children, in order to return them to their homes and school”, stated Gvaramia.
