A fine of 500 GEL was imposed on the leaders of the movement “7 November” Jaba Jishkariani, Dachi Tsaguria and Irakli Kordzaia by Tbilisi Civil Court under administrative law.
As the attorney of Dachi Tsaguria Gela Nikolaishvili stated to “InterPressNews”, the trials were held separately and identically.
“Judge dismissed petition of the attorneys of detainees to see the video of their arrest and to interrogate witnesses. Instead, the Judges satisfied the patrol’s request and imposed a fine of 500 GEL on the detainees” said Nikolaishvili and explained that the members of the movement “7November” were accused of breaching the Law on Assembly and Manifestations.
According to Nikolaishvili, Tsaguria, Jishkariani and Kordzaia were arrested by Patrol Police on November 23 when sitting on the stairs of the Parliament of Georgia with posters describing the history of murder of Buta Robakidze, Sandro Gvirgvliani and Zurab Vazagashvili.
“Patrol told them that the demonstration was illegal because they did not have permission, but the day before the City Hall refused the movement to arrange the action because some arrangements were planned in front of the Parliament on November 23”said Nikolaishvili.
