January 12, 2010
Kakheti News Centre was reported that Iago Kochlamazashvili, the inspector of Sighnaghi District Department of MIA, who took part in raiding of journalists, was appointed to the position of the head of Tsnori district police department.

We kindly remind you that on June 15 2006 journalists wanted to cover the protest rally in Anaga village in Sighnaghi district; MP Nugzar Abulashvili from Sighnaghi District ordered activists of the Sighnaghi district office of the National Movement and district policemen to disperse the protest rally.

Iago Kochlamazashvili, officer from Sighaghi district police department, took active part in the dispersal of people. They abused journalists physically and broke their equipment. Journalists were damaged.

Nobody commented on the promotion of the policeman at Kakheti regional main department of MIA.
