January 14, 2010

The Movement for Just Georgia applies again to the corresponding departments of Georgia to get the information about missing Ossetian citizens.

According to the press centre of the political movement, on December 23, 2009 under Article 40 of the General Administrative Code, Koba Abuladze, the board member of the movement for Just Georgia petitioned to public defender Giorgi Tugushi, the minister of internal affairs Vano Merabishvili, main prosecutor Murtaz Zodelava, the minister of Probation and Legal Aid Khatuna Kalmakhelidze.

The movement requested to help them to get information about 35 missing Ossetian people, whose family members requested Zurab Noghaideli, the party leader to find the missing people. However, no one responded to the petition of the movement.

The movement for Just Georgia will appeal to the court, if they do not receive reply.

The movement for Just Georgia prepares a letter to the minister of internal affairs and main prosecutor, where they requested information about the Genadi Pliev and Tamar Charaeva, the Ossetian citizens, who were detained by Georgian law enforcement officers in 2009.
