SOD Officer Was Fired

Officer of the Special Operative Department within the Ministry of Internal Affairs Davit Kobakhidze was fired.

According to the MIA, General Inspection imposed disciplinary charge on Davit Kobakhidze and then fired from the position.

According to the MIA, on August 28, 2007, Davit Kobakhidze physically assaulted Nikoloz Shapakidze. The video-recording of the incident was published in the internet and on TV.
