Journalist of TV Company Imedi was detained in Ukraine

Zura Khvistani, journalist of TV Company Imedi, was detained in Ukraine. Khvistani was going to Ukraine to cover second round of presidential elections in Ukraine. According to the News Program “Kronika”, he was not allowed to cross the board and now he is in the deportation department.

According to Khistiani, nobody clarified him anything and they stated that “he is not allowed to enter Ukraine”.

Khvistani also states, that there are several men with him in the detention setting and “there is great dirt in the setting”.

As for operator of the TV Company, he was allowed in Ukraine without problem. The embassy of Ukraine in Georgia also involved his case.

Khvistani was working on the first part of the presidential election in Donetsk.
