Employees Were Ordered To Write Resignation Letters at Khelvachauri District Administration

The personnel changes in Khelvachauri District administration started at the beginning of the year. All the employees were made to write resignation letters. The former employees informed us about this. They requested to keep their names anonymous.

Peride Khalvashi, the head of financial department, Nunu Mamulaishvili, the head of the administration office, Marina Diasamidze, the head of Education, Culture, Sport and Youth Department have already left the job.

New people were already recruited instead them without any competition. District governor Teimuraz Dumbadze hired 23-year-old Ketevan Devadze, on the post of head of Education, Culture, Sport and Youth Department, Tariel Nakashidze was appointed on the position of financial and budget department. According to them, this information is not official yet.

Teimuraz Dumbadze clarified: “I cannot say that employees were dismissed. There are few people who wanted to go to another job. If they have a desire, of course we cannot refuse them”.

Avtandil Beridze, the member of municipality board of Kelvachauri District from opposition party stated:”They made people write resignation letter. This is a well-appropriated method for the government. It is not painful for them to make similar changes”.
