Imedi TV Correspondent Is Simultaneously Spokesperson of the “Rustavi Water”

April 20, 2010
Head of the Rustavi office of the Movement for the Just Movement Nukri Shatirishvili gave a press-conference about the pre-election problems in the city. He said despite the obstacles created by the authority the program “Door by Door” is going on.

“According to the official data, 107 thousand voters are registered in Rustavi. 30-35% of it is unreal; the number of voters is artificially increased,” said the head of the Rustavi office of the Movement.

Shatirishvili thinks today there are plenty of problems in Rustavi. The biggest problem is unemployment and terror of shopping centers; they are permanently fined.

“For many families Rustavi has turned into a place where they spend only night. 23 000 residents of the city work in Tbilisi. There are some other problems too; for example, enterprise “Rustavi Water” robs and terrorizes population,” said Shatirishvili.

Journalist of the Radio “Imedi” in Kvemo Kartli region Lia Antauri responded to his statement. “It is false information and I suggest you to take the paragraph from your press-release. Population is not dissatisfied with the work of the Rustavi Water.”

Journalist Lia Antauri is also a spokesperson of the Rustavi Water. Thus, nobody got surprised at her comment at the press-conference.
