Parliament Discussed Expenditure of Administrative Resources by District Governors

Inter-fraction group of the parliament discussed the expenditure of administrative resources by the district governors in Kakheti region at the meeting. The chairperson of the Georgian Young Lawyers Tamar Khidasheli spoke about it.

She said, according to the local media, 8 district governors are on holiday in the region; three of them intend to be single mandate candidates, but despite being on holiday, the governors continue meetings and sessions in their offices and drive their office cars.

The member of the parliamentary majority Pavle Kublashvili said the government will get interested in the expenditure of the administrative resources during the pre-election campaign. If the facts are confirmed, they will react on them adequately.
