District Governors Resigned But They Still Work as Governors

Sagarejo district governor Gia Chalatashvili, Lagodekhi district governor Gia Gozalishvili, Gurjaani district governor Giorgi Chiviashvili and Dedoplistskaro district governor Levan Baghashvili resigned from their positions.

Kakheti News Center was informed that Chalatasvhili, Gozalishvili and Baghashvili are candidates for the upcoming municipality elections; Girogi Chiviashvili is a candidate of the intermediate parliamentary elections in Gurjaani district. The former governors are candidates of the National Movement.

Although they resigned, the former governors still use their office cars, meet the population regarding the issues which are within the competence of the district governor and react on the problems with the support of district budget.
