Residents of Vazisubani Village Reminded the MP Candidate Old False Promises

May 10, 2010
Residents of Vazisubani village in Gurjaani district blame the single mandate candidate and former district governor Giorgi Chiviashvili in giving them false promises.

“Chiviashvili met us during the pre-election campaign and promised to supply the village with water and gas. A young villager reminded him that the governmental officials had promised us to supply the village with gas during the parliamentary elections of May 21, 2008 too, but in vain. President Mikheil Saakashvili even lit gas in the public school building, The TV-Companies reported that Vazisubani village was also supplied with gas. In fact, the gas in the school building was supplied by a tank for that particular day and the natural air has never been supplied to the village,” said the locals. According to villagers, the representatives of the National Movement, did not allow the young man to finish his question and forced him out of the hall.

Head of the public relation department of the Company “Socar Georgia Gas” Temur Gajiev said they do not plan to supply Vazisubani village by gas this year.
