Properties of the Kvareli District Election HQ of the Alliance for Georgia Were Destroyed

May 21, 2010
At night of May 20, unidentified people destroyed the properties of the Kvareli district election HQ of the Alliance for Georgia. The head of the HQ Nugzar Ghoniashvili said that the strangers tore their election banners and posters.

“They could not tear off the banner without ladder. The HQ office is located in the center of Kvareli. The street is lit at night. People live in the area. They could not tear off the banner without being noticed by anybody. It is hampering the pre-election campaign,” said Ghoniashvili.

The Kvareli district police have not started investigation on the incident.
