Noise in the Office of Noghaideli’s Party

May 25, 2010
On May 23-24 there were a lot of people in the Kutaisi office of the Political Movement for the Just Georgia. They requested the administration of the political party to pay the salaries they had to get a month and a half ago.

“We were walking all around the city and knocked almost every door. It was not an easy job at all because very often we were insulted; however, we worked hard as we expected good reimbursement for it. We made oral agreement with the representatives of the organization. Today, they tell us the party does not have money and we might not get the salaries. Besides that, we were insulted and soon they will start to assault us too,” said the woman who arrived at Noghaideli’s party office to get the information about the salary; later she witnessed noisy argument there.

Several dozens of people were waiting for their salaries in the office. They said the party members did not even give them proper explanations not to speak about the salaries.

“What else can we do? We explained to those people that we do not know when the money will be transferred. As soon as we get reply from the head office we will inform them too. Nobody wants to deceive them, believe me,” said the representative of the Kutaisi office of the Movement for the Just Georgia Gocha Badzgarazde.
